A lifeless body on the couch
Unable to think,
Unable to feel,
Unable to care.

Text messages go ignored
As I stare at the ceiling,
Completely checked out of life.

A word that rarely describes me
But it’s hopeless
And I’m tired
Tired of feeling so much

Life has lost its color
Food has lost its flavor
Nothing matters anymore

Numb
A woman swallowed in apathy
Unable to move
Unable to stop
Unable to pause

This is when I become most dangerous
Because I no longer feel anything
Nor do I have hopes and dreams
I just want to fade away…
